Dave King

Dave King joined QVC as a program host in 1995. In this position, King presents product information, conducts demonstrations, and interacts with on–air guests, vendors, celebrities, and viewers.

Prior to QVC, King was a successful actor. He appeared in more than 100 commercials and on such hit television series as Hack, Kate & Allie, The Cosby Show, and Law & Order. He also has starred in the following films: Rude Awakening, Married to It, and Guarding Tess. King has acted in New York theater productions of Jesus Christ Superstar and Dreamgirls. Most recently, King played the role of Mike Gordon on the ABC soap opera All My Children and Billy Cooper on the NBC soap opera, Another World.

Before King began his acting career, he was a sales representative for Johnson & Johnson and a sales manager for Elizabeth Arden Cosmetics. He also was a management consultant for HBO and Warner Music Group. Prior to that, he taught music and was a football coach in Morristown, N.J.

King received a B.A. in Music Education from Penn State University, State College, PA.
